This home is amazing, it was like staying at our own private resort. We spent a week with our 3 adult kids and their partners and everyone loved the amount of furnished outdoor space, the pool and the privacy of their own “pods”. Peter was our host and was super responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

Peter is a fantastic host. We had a great time staying at Hale Mele. We traveled with two infants and one toddler which was not easy - but Peter helped us plan ahead of time to make sure we had everything we needed to reduce our stress and improve our stay. He was also incredibly responsive during our stay whenever we had questions or ran into challenges. I can’t speak highly enough! If we find ourselves back on the big island, we will look to return to Hale Mele!

We stayed at Peter and Theresa’s property for a family vacation with 9 people, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, everyone was blown away by how beautiful, spacious, and spotless the home was. It’s a short drive from the airport and easy to find, thanks to the excellent communication Peter and Theresa provided beforehand. The house is tastefully decorated, well stocked, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and fun. The beds were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which made it easy for everyone to rest well. The golf cart was our favorite perk and made it so easy (and fun!) to get around the Mauna Lani area for shops and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean, with plenty of towels and seating for all. The upstairs balcony offered breathtaking sunset views that were perfect for photos. Peter was very responsive and went above and beyond by being flexible with our check-in and checkout. A 5-star stay all around!

What a wonderful atmosphere! We had 3 generations and 3 families, all with plenty of privacy and togetherness. We didn't spend much time indoors, but the living room, dining room and game room were terrific. There's a well appointed kitchen inside, and a nice outdoor kitchen with a large grill, fridge, and sink. Easy living with no hassles.

This is a beautiful home with lovely furnishings. It is very private and close to the wonderful beach club. Four of the bedrooms have en-suite which made it nice for our group. I highly recommend.

My family had the pleasure of staying at Hale Mele 2 to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and vow renewal. Peter was incredibly helpful, providing prompt and thoughtful recommendations for a personal chef, photographer, and other event-day services. His suggestions truly enhanced our experience. The property itself was immaculate and exactly as depicted in the photos. We had an unforgettable time and highly recommend this beautiful home for any special occasion!

We had an excellent stay at Hale Mele. The house and grounds are amazing. Our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids) had ample space to spread out, but also lots of space to spend time together indoors or out.
Peter was a great host - very responsive to the couple questions we had - and genuinely interested in ensuring that we had a great stay. We happened to be at the house during the tsunami warnings/evacuations in July 2025, and Peter and his team were incredible communicative, providing updates on our ability to return to the home throughout.
We would certainly recommend Hale Mele as a great spot to be situated for a trip to the big island.

Das Haus ist perfekt, unsere Familie mit 11 Personen hatte reichlich Gemeinschafts- und Privaträume. Das Grundstück und das Haus sind makellos. Der Golfwagen und die Fahrräder waren einfach zu benutzen und eine tolle Möglichkeit, sich in der Anlage fortzubewegen. Peter ist sehr reaktionsschnell und äußerst zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Haus war einfach wunderschön und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.
Der Salzwasserpool war herrlich und alles im Haus hat fĂĽr unsere Gruppe von 6 Erwachsenen und 2 Kleinkindern perfekt funktioniert.
Wir fanden es toll, dass die Zimmer in separaten Gebäuden untergebracht waren – nicht nur wegen der Privatsphäre, sondern auch für Mittagsschläfchen und unterschiedliche Schlafzeiten.
Das Haus war sehr sauber und hatte alles, was wir nur brauchen konnten, ebenso wie die KĂĽche.
Mit dem Golfcart war der Zugang zum Strand, zu Lebensmitteln, Restaurants usw. super einfach.
WĂĽrde es zu 1000 % weiterempfehlen!!
